The Local Authority and the Governors have agreed it is time to formally reduce the Published Admissions Number of Ruislip Gardens from 90 to 60 pupils, and is consulting on this now, to take effect from September 2022 when the maximum Reception intake would be 60, and in each Reception year following. This enables the school to continue to plan staffing and teaching for pupils for the number of classes we have now. This will not change anything for pupils and parents at the school or those living nearby wishing to join the school in future as currently each year group is now below the proposed upper limit of 60. If you wish you can indicate your views on a short on-line survey www.hillingdon.gov.uk/consultation. The proposed change at Ruislip Gardens is Question 4 - and you need to answer the others first to get to it - but can put don't know/ not applicable to get to the last two questions about Ruislip Gardens. If you have any other questions or comments please email admissions@hillingdon.gov.uk.

Stationery

All children in Years 1-6 need to bring their own stationery/pencil case to school for their own use. The pencil case and contents will then remain in school and be stored in your child’s classroom tray. Please ensure that your child/children each come to school with a small pencil case and the following stationery:

  • 2 x wooden HB writing pencils
  • 2 x black handwriting pens (not fountain pens or biros) (for KS2 children only)
  • coloured pencils
  • scissors
  • white eraser
  • glue stick
  • pencil sharpener
  • 30cm transparent ruler
  • purple pen (not gel pen)
  • 2 x whiteboard pens

The items on the above list are the only stationery items your child should bring to school. Please do not include any additional stationery items. If there is a child who does not bring in their pencil case or have the correct stationery then the school will issue them with a simple stationery pack and a charge of £2.50 for payment will be added to your parent pay account for you to pay. Please also ensure any used items are promptly replaced.
