We welcome potential new pupils and parents to visit Ruislip Gardens Primary school and take a tour of our school

  • Nursery tours take place on Tuesday mornings at 10:00am
  • Reception to Year 6 tours take place on Tuesday mornings at 11:00am

Applications for Nursery are made direct to the school. Nursery intakes take place in September, January and April. Children are accepted into the Nursery the term after they turn three years of age.

Ruislip Gardens Primary School currently run a morning session of three hours of childcare. The morning session runs from 8:30am (gates close at 8:40am) to 11:30am (gates close at 11:40 am).

A place in the Nursery will not guarantee a place in the main school.


The main point of entry into the school is in Reception. Legally a child must be attending school the term after their fifth birthday.

Parents of Nursery children born between 1st September 2015 and 31st August 2016 will need to apply for their Primary school place starting in Reception in September 2020 by: this information will be available following the Summer break 2019 *.

The application dates will be communicated to parents via email and in the school Newsletter. It is important that we have the most up-to-date contact information to make sure you don’t miss any important deadlines.


Admissions during the school year are not maintained by Ruislip Gardens School directly.

If you wish to secure a place for your child at Ruislip Gardens Primary School within the academic school year please visit or contact the Admissions Team at Hillingdon Borough Council on 01895 556 644 where your application will be processed.

The Admissions Team make offers on a bi-weekly basis. Once your child has been offered a place at Ruislip Gardens Primary School Mrs. Stockwell the Admission officer will contact you to arrange a tour, if you haven’t done so already, and to collect an application pack. Following the return of your child’s completed application form to the school office you will be contacted with a start date and confirmation of your child’s new class and teacher.

Visitors comment positively about the school, from the children’s behaviour and their enthusiasm to the staffs ongoing commitment and dedication.
