Headteacher's Welcome ⥂

Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum

Staff monitor children's progress & collect evidence throughout the Foundation Stage & parents will have a chance to discuss their child's progress at school and nursery during consultation evenings.

Activities and learning experiences are planned to include the areas of learning in the EYFS. The children are given the opportunity to investigate, explore and learn through practical, structured and free play activities. These activities respond to each child’s individual needs and interests. Children are encouraged to be independent and we have many areas and activities where they can self-select materials and equipment.

    This half term

We have been learning about animals in our topic of 'All Creatures Great and Small'. We have learnt about wild animals, farm animals and minibeasts. We are really enjoying using non-fiction books and technology to help us to find out facts about different animals to help us to be animal experts! We also enjoyed exploring in Forest School to see what minibeasts we could find. We had lots of fun with our grown ups on 'Do it with Dad' day!
