July 2019 Ofsted Inspection
Ruislip Gardens Primary School was inspected by Ofsted on 4th and 5th June 2019. The inspection team found Ruislip Gardens Primary to be a ‘GOOD’ school. They recognised the significant progress the school has made since the new senior leadership team started in September 2019. They say "the new headteacher and senior leaders, together with the governors, are ambitious and determined to make sure pupil’s benefit from a high quality education’ ... 'Leaders have substantially improved the school. As a result, pupils benefit from a good and improving education".
The inspectors comment that "teaching is effective and supports pupils to make good progress across the subjects"... Teaching of writing has markedly improved this year." We are very pleased with this recognition as the school has worked very hard to ensure all children are receiving the education they deserve.
The report states "the leaders have improved the effectiveness of the use of the pupil premium funding for disadvantaged pupils ... as a result, differences are diminishing and, sometimes, disadvantaged pupils make stronger progress than their peers and others nationally." This is a great achievement for the school as we have worked very hard to ensure that pupil premium funding supports disadvantaged children to ensure they are receiving a good education.
Ruislip Gardens Primary School has made a great amount progress in the right direction since the last Ofsted inspection and this report has clarified our progress and agreed with our ways forward to ensure every child has a good education.

National Fitness Day - 27th September 2017
Children and staff at Ruislip Gardens Primary School joined 10,000 schools nationwide to partake in ten minutes of physical activity. We all went into the playground and enjoyed some rousing tunes from Mr B, our resident DJ, as we partook in warm up exercises, dance moves and some heart pumping exercise.
During the course of the day, children reflected on what fitness means to them and put together some interesting written work and some colourful displays. Many pupils commented that they would like to have this physical activity introduced as part of their weekly programme alongside their regular PE lesson.
